The piping material control ensures that all piping material be supplied timely and correctly for the requirements from the construction schedule and/or construction progress. Responsible for control of all piping material and co-ordinates among the piping Subcontractor, the piping Supervisor and the warehouse piping Supervisor, and recommends on how to adjust work schedule, if necessary. Supervises the warehouse piping Supervisor in monitoring and reporting of piping material status, and also in storing, issuing, inventory and control of all piping material. Checks and Reviews each overage, shortage and damage of the piping material in which OS&D Report being prepared by the warehouse piping Supervisor. Checks and signs the following request sheets of the piping material that are submitted by the piping Subcontractor, Dispatch Report Slip (DRS), Material Issue Log (MIR), Miss/Loss/Damage Request Slip (MLD). Expedite the project and procurement group in Chiyoda Yokohama Office (CGH) to improve delivery of outstanding material and advise the piping Supervisors of delivery status for the said material. Proceed to local purchasing for the shortage material which is requested by the piping Supervisors, and request the Project in Chiyoda Yokohama Office (CGH) to purchase them, if necessary. Supervises the operation of Smart Materials (SPMat) system of piping material control and maintains SPM data of computer system correctly. Updates the change B/M data due to Field Design Change (FDC) for which the isometric drawings are revised by the piping Engineers, and advise them of substituted material for the said material, when necessary.
