• To follow-up the deployment planning and scheduling of all GDDN and Segment NW assets analyzing impacts to operations activities.
• To manage all GDDN engineering and deployment activities and related reporting, and to coordinate GDDN Site Acceptance and Network Acceptance Reviews
• To support all Network ops processes, ARBs, CCBs providing coordination across all Ops teams on issues/changes, supporting information transfer to ESA/Segment, supporting CCR implementation planning and follow-on.
• To support the coordination of the local GCC network ops teams, ensuring harmonization of an integrated MDDN, SDDN and GDDN ops concept definition, processes implementation, procedures development and validation and.
• To identify and follow-up cross-GCC NW operations and security engineering improvements and injects input into the GDDN/GCS/GMS/System OID documents and meetings

Munich Area, Germany

• Coordinate the activities necessary to identify, classify, and mitigate any GDDN related incident, and to restore as quickly as possible the Galileo service with the least possible impact.
• Contribute to the GDDN design by providing technical solutions and the required operations inputs for the definition of the data network concept (VSAT and terrestrial)
• Configure and control the GDDN equipment, including network monitoring solutions, of the Galileo infrastructure (Firewalls, VPN, switch, router, and VSAT equipment’s)
• Organize the operations and any kind of maintenance in the GDDN and ensure end-to-end communication systems of the Galileo Ground Segments in close coordination with the third party providers (if necessary)
• Analyse and correlate events to ensure that threats occurring over an extended period of time have a better chance of being detected
• Analyse the data coming from the (BT)NMS+ in order to predict possible threats or understand the root cause of an incident or a failure in the GDDN

• Design technological solutions to build a tactical communications infrastructure to support the broad range of NATO mission types within the project “TACOMS Federated Network”
• Theme Leader of the IOP interoperability workshop for an International group of people (ITA, FIN, FRA, SWE and DEU) with the function of reviewing solutions and coordinating the work.
• Analyse operational requirements in an IP-based tactical communication system from a security-perspective to an efficient and accurate usage of network resources (NATO standard for IP encryptions, QoS, OAM services)
• Investigate signalling service to establish network signalling for resource reservations and study appropriate CAC methods and IP-routing algorithms for the FMN (Future Mission Network)
• Study of some adaptive and effective mitigation mechanisms to come up against bearer variations
• Support the development and implementation of IOP operation concept for FMN
