I currently lead the Ibotta Mobile team, comprised of Android and iOS engineers as well as Quality Enablement testers across multiple levels of seniority and tenure.I closely partner with my product, design, analytics, technical and non-technical stakeholders on ideating, developing, testing and ultimately releasing "saver" or user-facing features for our flagship mobile applications as well as coach, mentor and help evolve our technical roadmap and engineering culture.

Our mission was to make our saver journey as frictionless, intuitive and rewarding as possible for our "savers" or users. This was comprised of developing new features, deprecating older ones, tackling some serious technical debt and most notably helped evolve our app version from 5.x to 6.x.

While at TrueCar, I worked on the Digital Retailing team at TrueCar.com and shipped incremental updates and improvements to TrueCar.com and TrueCar Mobile (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/truecar-used-cars-and-new-cars/id624714390).My role comprised of being an individual contributor and tech lead across a number of initiatives; primarily focused on the native mobile apps then pivoted to supporting the flagship Truecar.com web application (main tech used was React/React Native on top of a monolithic Rails app for the backend). Agile/Scrum is second-nature at this point.

While at Aetna, I was part of a couple teams - one was tasked with developing features for a greenfield iOS consumer-facing application for the healthcare giant called Aetna Mobile; the other was working on their symptom checker app called iTriage.I was heavily involved and particularly interested in UX/UI design, setting up our CI/CD flows (Jenkins), automated integration testing (Calabash and Cucumber) and accessibility (we reached WCAG 2.x compliance and collaborated with the Blind Institute of Technology to reach a minimum of bronze-level "a11y" rank).
