I have received a Bachelor and Master of Science cum laude at the University of Pavia in Medical Biotechnologies and in Molecular Biology and Genetics, respectively. I also completed an advanced course in Novel technologies in molecular medicine at the University of Padova and a Ph.D. in Morphogenesis and Tissue Engineering at the University Sapienza of Rome. After two internships at the University of Pavia and at the University of Cambridge, I started working at the GENERA IVF centers in Italy, where I contributed to the validation, implementation and monitoring of the preimplantation genetic testing program in collaboration with the Genetyx laboratory (now Igenomix Italy). I was the science and research manager of GeneraLife IVF, a network of European IVF centers. Currently, I am based at the GENERA training center in Rome, I am the science and research manager of GENERA, the innovation director of IVIRMA Italia, and the global manager of AI and data management for embryological research of the IVIRMA Global Research Alliance.I am passionate about sharing my expertise. I am reviewer for several international journals in the field of reproductive medicine, associate editor of the journal human reproduction and section editor in clinical embryology of the journal reproductive biomedicine online. I am author of more than 130 papers in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters. I am the coordinator of the special interest group in clinical embryology of the Italian society of embryology, research and reproduction (SIERR), and the coordinator of the special interest group in implantation and early pregnancy (SIGIEP) of the European society of human reproduction and embryology (ESHRE).
