Mr. Cortes is a former U.S. Marine and local resident of SWFL. Upon completion of his faithful service with the Marines and before becoming an Attorney, Mr. Cortes served the local community for 11 years as a Career Development Representative helping individuals re-enter the workforce through education and training programs with the Southwest Florida Workforce Development Board, under the Department of Economic Opportunity. A local Hodges University alum, Mr. Cortes went on to complete his legal education at Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, FL. Mr. Cortes is a fluently Spanish-speaking attorney with the highest work ethic and sense of accountability that only a former Marine can provide. His desire to help others is the essence of his being and is reflected in his service from the Marine Corps to his work as a Career Development Representative and now as an attorney. Mr. Cortes shares his free time with his wife and three children. Mr. Cortes is an avid soccer player and passionate seeker of justice.
