Position: International Procurement and Logistics CoordinatorReported to the Supply Chain ManagerTeam: 3 collaborators Received the challenge of organizing the Foreign Trade department, increasing savings (renegotiating value of most-consumed items and developing new suppliers), optimizing international logistics, mapping processes, developing new employees, working with CAPEX Process Engineering, applying training in area quality (6 Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen) and ensuring increases in supplier service level (SLA) whether in price, deadline, quality or innovation. Member of the Global Procurement Council at Multek/Flextronics (Brazil, Germany, USA, China) to secure opportunities for new suppliers, services and rebates with suppliers in other countries. Prospection, development and negotiation with suppliers of productive materials and machines in markets in China, Taiwan, Europe and USA. Negotiation and monitoring of logistic partners: Kuehne and Nagel, Schenker, Panalpina, UPS, Fedex and Damco. Experience in import logistics and customs legislation for used machines/equipment from China. Experience in import and inventory control in dry ports (Hubs) where material was left until needed at the factory. Monitoring and coordination of import processes: placing buying orders with suppliers, follow up during manufacture, contracting and programming embarkation, analyzing documents required by Brazilian customs, nationalization of merchandise, delivery coordination and monitoring until the final destination. One-year's work in the International Sales area, the main customers being Commscope (USA, Germany), Celestica (Canada), Flextronics (Mexico, Malaysia) and Ametek (USA) among others.
