His job entails the inspection of curtain wall / façade construction works in progress that ensures the compliance of materials and workmanship with Approved shop drawings, specification, and method statement, Submittals and Monitor the contractor’s progress of work, issues Surveillance Deficiency and Non-compliance report and reporting daily site activities.

1. Understanding the project in terms of scope, milestone and methodology. Coordination of work among trade supervisors assigned to ensure productivity is maximized. 2. Deployment of area targets. Review operations to promote safety and efficient utilization of labour, plant and materials. 3. Ensure that the labour force is instructed in methods of working to comply with company procedures, method statements and safe working practices.4. Carry out safety toolbox talks as directed by the safety officer. 5. Assist in the preparation of works instructions and method statements for works. Feedback comments or changes required to the description of the activities. 6. Analysis variances whenever noted on site for the following and be able to document such variances if influenced by unforeseen site conditions:a. Manpower productivityb. Equipment utilizationc. Fuel consumption for equipmentd. Variance of equipment loading and manpower loading. 7. Monitoring and preparation of weekly and monthly reports for submission to the Project superintendent inputs relating to his assigned trade on the ff:a. Potential variation orders as seen on site relating to the AFC drawing being referred for constructionb. Construction problemsc. Work requirement8. Ensuring rectification and closing issued Corrective Action/Preventive Action Required (CAPAR) raised internally. 9. Maintain good relationships with the Client’s representative. 10. Maintain good industrial relations practices to comply with company policy and avoid undue conflict with the labour force. 11. Conduct weekly work and safety coordination meeting to be attended by all domestic and nominated subcontractors in his assigned area.

United Arab Emirates ( Dubai Metro)

1. Carry out inspection with site engineers & subcontractors in accordance with Inspection Test Plan (ITP) drawings etc. and ensure correct documentation is prepared for Inspection Test Request (ITR)2. Assist with site engineers over materials and ensure that correct materials approval documentation is in place for Engineers review.3. Follow up non-conformance reports and to ensure recommended actions are acted upon before closure by Engineer.4. Coordinate quality matters with all the site engineers, sub-contractors and vendors.5. Coordinate rejected (ITR’s) when required and liaise with head office QA/QC to closure point.6. Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable method statements, drawings, codes and standards.7. Liaise with head office on quality audits and inspections.8. Assist in the implement the QA/QC management procedures at site.

Philippines

1. On site administrator of the QA/QC Program for 47-storey building in Makati city Philippines. A stick curtain wall, punch windows, aluminum louvers, and cladding on HIGH-RISE office residential building.2. Responsibilities includes full authority to order site work stoppage as deem necessary, over all approving authority for subcontractor works or Supplied materials, submittals, and etc. 3. Offers rectification methodology for defective works to ensure satisfaction of consultant / owner. 4. Prepares punch-listing reports on installed aluminum windows, doors, curtain wall, aluminum louvers, and aluminum claddings. 5. Prepares rectification work and progress reports. 6. Observes site safety practices. 7. Supervises and monitors rectification works (dismantling/installation) of curtain wall and punch windows prior to water testing. 8. Supervises water testing on installed window panels, based on ASTME 1105-23, Standard Test Method for Field Determination of Water Penetration of installed windows and curtain walls. 9. Prepares inspection report, documentation of water testing reports, rectification reports and non- compliance report to be submitted to the client.

Check the weep holes, must free from any blockage (size:5 x 18mm )4. Check the screws at pressure plate; we used 12 x ¾ L (PHSTS)5. Check the continuity of sealant bed with backer rod at glass.6. Check the weep holes of pressure plate cover it must be at the bottom of the cover and free from any blockage. Check the size of weep holes.7. Check the continuity of the push-in/wedge gasket8. Check if there is bulb gasket (EPW 284) at header (subhead)9. Check if there is a sealant in between spigot and mullion prior to installation and bolt head nut.10. Must have aluminum filler (should be anodized finish) at every mullion jamb, Contact on aluminum11. Check weep holes of sill transom, must be free from any blockage or miss- aligned sill transom.12. Check the installation of sill flashing.13. Check if there is sealant applied in between14. Must be well sealed
