Working for IBM Digital Engagement Services in LA QA team my main role was to perform tests of standards, accessibility and if the requests were satisfied (mainly).Working in Follow-the-sun way, it was a great opportunity to meet different people with different languages. Using English all the time was one of the things I most enjoyed. It was also a great opportunity to practice my Spanish with LA team and a few people in Romania and Slovakia.

Working for MSD Latin America, my main role was to handle all the tickets and demands regarding to the Brazilian portal and intranet, the SEO campains and reports, the website metrics, the database maintenance, the website-related issues sent from Call Center and provide technical support for web languages to the business team. The best thing in this position was to work as a bridge person to support Business team and Operations team helping to define, test and deploy releases and patches to the Sharepoint portal. This was a great opportunity to learn and use ITIL in a daily basis. Besides that I was also working on the cleaning and migration of the Oracle database.Another responsibility I had by that time was to help to implement the SEO campaigns and generate the raw report. This was a great opportunity to work with Google Analytics and Webtrends.Due to my role, every week I had both English and Spanish meetings with my Latin America team and the Operations team on United States, Spain and India. Speaking other languages was something that I always enjoyed in my previous jobs.Again this job position allowed me to learn more about some languages, softwares, technologies and platforms such as Sharepoint, Interwoven Teamsite, Excel, SQL Server, MySQL, PHP, jQuery, CSS tableless, Plusoft, Peoplesoft, Remedy and Siebel.

Working as intern for MSD Brazil, my main role was to keep the website updated. Although I was also responsible for extracting, crossing and filtering the databases for the newsletters and the metrics reports. Later I was also responsible to handle website-related issues received by the Call Center.Once it was my first job in a big company, I learned a lot of technical and professional skills, I got the opportunity to learn how to use or how to improve my knowledge in softwares and technologies like Dreamweaver, Flash, Oracle, Photoshop, SQL, MS Access and Excel.For the first time in my life I was able to practice Spanish due to the interaction with Latin America team. Eventually I end up participating in several meetings and learning English was part of this process.
