Finance activities includes managing third party relationships of accounting and payroll services (including benefits); communicating results and financial information to the business including our head office in Australia (including but not limited to the Australian monthly financial closing process); managing cash flow and accounts payable; managing relevant procurement activities and processes; managing legal documents in liaison with internal and external legal teams, relevant functional leaders/country manager/legal representatives; and ensuring we are compliant with fiscal and all other relevant regulations of Brazil, including management of external audit processes. Broader commercial finance activities include analyzing and reviewing country business performance (including contextual analysis of broader economic activity and benchmarking against relevant competitors); proactively identifying, influencing, participating in and/or developing financially sound business opportunities with clear goal and measurable outcomes; providing commercial financial insights/advice to functional, brand and country managers; participation in the development of annual budgets and re-forecasting; developing improved reporting techniques to support and influence strategic and tactical decision making; all of which shall ultimately enhance the country business thru sustainable results, profitability growth and revenue expansion.
