Working along with engineers of different fields (acoustics, structural, mechanism, thermodynamics and electrical), as well as with product designers.Activities:• Concept and detailed design, sometimes using off-the-shelf components. - Design of prototypes, test benches and concepts for new components with PTC Creo (CAD) and FEA. - Design of final product components starting from concept (cast iron and aluminum, injected polymer, stamped sheet metal and sinter iron components). - Parts and assemblies drawings.• Participation in brainstorm sessions for new ideas for product design.• PLM management in PTC Windchill (BOMs).• Report of PLM status for the Project Managers and Product Specialists.• Provided training of PTC Creo and PTC Windchill for a new intern. Managed a team of four people.Activities:- Led a study of the dynamics of the continuously variable transmission (CVT) used in the vehicle, in order to better understand the mechanism and gather information to design a whole new CVT that would be manufactured by the team.- Designed, developed and manufactured a test bench to study the speed loss between the clutches and the belt of the CVT.- Conducted the study about the speed loss in the CVT.Results:- Measured that the speed losses in the CVT were between 6% and 10% in the driver clutch and between 20% and 24% in the driven clutch. Managed a team of five peopleActivities:- Led the design and structural analysis of the tubular chassis of the Baja vehicle.- Led a study to reduce the vibrations transmission from the engine to the chassis.- Trained new members in Ansys Mechanical and basic concepts of vibrations.- Results:- Designed and manufactured, along with the team, a chassis weighted the same as the previous but lasted the double of competitions (and a lot of rollovers with the new drivers).- Achieved a measured vibrations transmissibility from the engine to the chassis of 0,61 in minimum engine rpm and 0,25 in maximum engine rpm, improving driver comfort and chassis life span.

Results: - 5th place in the Maneuverability event in Baja SAE Rochester World Challenge 2016.- 1st place in Suspension Design in 2016 Baja SAE Brasil - South.
