National Sales Manager Managed national sales programs and supervised 10 field/district sales managers. Successfully increased sales for the company’s therapeutic portfolio in various markets: contraception, fertility, hormone therapy (HT), mental health and anaesthesia. Conducted quarterly sales meetings, developed goals while coordinating all local, regional, and national training. Carried out market surveys for identifying new business opportunities. Developed programs to create brand awareness and oversaw all company-directed promotional activities within the dealer network.

Managed the Fertility Team, leading a team of 13 ISF specialists within the private and public centre for fertility and hormone therapy (P.M.A.). Responsible for the international product development team (i.e., marketing, regulatory, legal, basic science/lab personnel, clinical/medical, production, etc.), while supervising a very active development program. Designed training material for P.M.A.’s Health Care Centre to ensuring proper product application.

Developed a comprehensive strategic marketing plan including market analysis & strategy identification; lead communications and product marketing staff; developed brand identity, image and industry positioning; forecasting and budgeting; directed all phases of project planning and execution of marketing plan, including new product introduction; new business opportunity assessment, in-licensing and acquisition targeting. Enabled the gynecology marketing team to achieve company objectives (2 Product Managers, 1 Medical advisor). Responsibilities also included the management of external consultant relationships, advertising and publication agencies. Responsible for the contraception (Nuvaring, Mercilon, Gracial, Cerazette, Practil) and the menopause (Livial, Sandrena, Ovestin) product portfolio.

Managed the company’s asthmatic product portfolio (Tilade e Lomudal), the anti allergic products (Tilarin, Tilavist, Hypolak) as well as vaccines (such as ALK). Compiled and executed several communication and advertising campaigns, courses, medical conventions and managed public relations while cooperating with corporate headquarters.
