Working under Dr. Cameron Currie, our research focuses on antimicrobial resistance and finding new secondary metabolites from insects, primarily. I have been involved in every step of the process, including collecting insect samples and preventing contamination in the field to growing cultures of bacteria and preparing media, and lastly extracting the secondary metabolites produced by bacteria cultures.

Lead team of lifeguards responsible with ensuring safety and supervision on the waterfront. Acted as first responder to numerous emergencies along the waterfront, managing staff and campers while providing best care possible depending on the individual. Communicated with leadership team to ensure all campers were accounted for during activity periods. Rang activity bell to signal the start and end of every period to staff and campers.
