The Professional Gardener Program curriculum includes three cumulative courses centered on the Student Exhibition Garden. Introduction to Landscape Design, Landscape Design & Construction, and the Capstone Garden Project simulate the types of challenges graduates might encounter in a residential project. Students are required to conceive, design, present, plan, install, maintain and interpret a design solution with the same rigorous standards upheld by Longwood Gardens.Continuing Education programs include single and multi-day programs on design, garden inspiration and plant identification topics held throughout the year.
