Experienced photogrammetrist, 3D modeler, VFX and post-production supervisor that evolved to become executive producer for games and movies.Danilo’s contributions have led to the development of countless successful interactive products in Hollywood for the past ten years. Danilo moved to LA in 2007 to serve as R&D engineer for Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. While at Sony, for about 8 years, Danilo promoted Columbia Pictures movies on PlayStation devices. Danilo left Sony with his team in early 2015 to focus on new technologies and has been working on multiple award-winning immersive projects since. Some of the latest projects include the "7 Miracles", a VR movie, shot in Italy and France for HTC VIVE STUDIOS & Panogramma. 7 Miracles was awarded the "Best VR Film Of The Festival" at the latest Raindance Film Festival in London, UK. Danilo also contributed as Executive Producer for Buzz Aldrin: Cycling Pathways to Mars - developed for 8i and Time Inc. This project was featured at SXSW, nominated for an Emmy and is the Winner of "Best in VR" Webby Awards. Danilo has also worked on memorable projects including but not limited to: The NASA Apollo Museum, The Harold Lloyd Museum, 360 live broadcast of Cirio de Nazare and key PlayStation products such as Hollywood Hills Mansion; Ghostbusters and Men In Black Machinina Stage Set; Q*bert Rebooted adaptation for PlayStation and Xbox. Danilo's recent speaking engagements include Cannes XR in France, Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Digital Hollywood, Infinity Festival and Siggraph in Los Angeles.

I have worked on several productions using real actors performance captured by volumetric video. Buzz Aldrin VR, developed for 8i, and Jesus 7 Miracles, developed for HTC Vive Studios using 4DVIEWS, are the most recent work to receive awards for achievements in the Virtual and Augmented Reality fields. I have created virtual reality experiences that took users on trips to the Moon, Mars, Old Jerusalem and even a museum in Brazil, my hometown. I personally digitize environments using photogrammetry and laser scanning. I have created pipelines and managed multiple teams, from the ground up, to build games and interactive narratives in Hollywood for the last 10 years.My favorite volumetric tools are Reality Capture, Agisoft Photoscan, Houdini, Maya, and Substance Painter. Game engines like Unity and Unreal are used to place all the cool kids together in a smooth interactive narrative experience. I believe we are marching towards a revolution in the way content is created for the new generation of VR/AR/MR devices. The perfect storm is coming.
