Brimstone is decarbonizing the cement industry (7.5% of global emissions) by offering deeply decarbonized Ordinary Portland Cement and SCM. I wear a lot of hats but mainly spend my time thinking about our Carbon and Commercialization Strategy, i.e.:-- how do you put a price on carbon? how do you compare 1t CO2 from one company against 1t CO2 from another company? -- how should the cement industry think about measuring and monetizing carbon reductions (e.g. leveraging learnings from other industries, creating coalitions & partnerships with the right orgs, informing carbon accounting rules, tracking/anticipating market trends, suggesting baselines). -- where is the best place to build a low-carbon cement factory? where (by geography and customer class) is demand for low-carbon products highest, and how do you balance that with other constraints to maximize project efficiency and ROI?
