- Founded hedge fund to implement new "fundamentals-quant" portfolio management concept that had been in development for years- Enhanced methodology that employs extensive industry research, building highly detailed proprietary valuation models, that significantly improved analysts team's accuracy/productivity- Developed and implemented algorithm (in Python/VBA) to construct a rules-based/quantitative portfolio with a company-specific margin of safety relative to “fair value”- Designed protocols to execute trading operations, leading to virtually zero execution errors- Designed and oversaw the compliance program for the fund, as well as participated on SEC registration and examination- Designed most operational procedures at the fund, reducing NAV confirmation time from days to less than an hour- Designed management company's tax structure to substantially minimized taxes for partners
