During my five-plus years at Wingate I made a material contribution to the firms' successful growth and organisational strength. During this time I work as a self employed Management Consultant one of my biggest clients was ANZ• Analyzed the ANZ Financial Planning's front line (planners and practice managers) to understand their challenges and opportunities in regards to optimising bank referrals and their conversion to satisfied customers. • Identified gaps and weaknesses in the current environment, developed appropriate scalable solutions, and delivered these to be assimilated into the network, and absorbed as part of best practices and training. • Managed changeover and strategised to minimise the disruption that the new solutions invariably produced.• Effectively multi-tasked consultancy work within financial institutions, dealer groups and individual advisor practices whilst authoring and publishing a book. • Successfully published Powerful Words: The New Way to Sell Financial Advice in September of 2014.

Hugely successful innovation which led to the team being flown to Sydney for the acceptance of an award of recognition.• Oversaw day-to-day team performance and delivery including: maintaining and enhancing the advice delivery model, paraplanning services, compliance, and training and development.Introduced a new and innovative fee basis, shifting from a product model to an advice-based model. • Project managed special projects, including related to financial planning and productivity management tools. • Promoted from Regional Practice Manager to the Leadership Team after just nine months.

• Established and managed an independent financial services business. Responsible for all business development, website management, presenting, training and business coaching delivered to clients. • Created The Peer Effect brand as an umbrella under which to develop and communicate content relevant and valuable to financial advisors seeking to build more robust and profitable businesses. • Produced a series of DVDs providing business solutions to financial planners, and wrote financial advice articles which regularly appeared in trade journals and institutional publications.

• Partnered with the CEO to consider, develop and implement strategic changes to the dealer group, as well as to liaise with individual advisors with regard to their business challenges. • Created value-add material for financial planners, delivered presentations and training workshops, and supported advisor recruitment function. • Successfully founded the AFS Business School - a two-day immersion program delivering business skills to self-employed financial planners.
