In short, my focus is on helping teams move from Good to Great! For the last several years, my concentration is on valuing and guiding teams in the development and publishing of free to play (F2P) mobile and online games. The Myst/Riven franchise was one of the first billion dollar brands in the video game industry. Myst III: Exile, realMyst, Myst Masterpiece, & Myst IV: Revelation were milestones of their day. The Myst III: Exile was nominated for several AIAS awards including Best Original Story, Best Original Music Score and Best Adventure Game. At Relic Entertainment as Executive Producer responsible for Homeworld2 and the Homeworld franchise, we mixed passion, performance and solid execution. Homeworld2 was also nominated for several industry awards including Best RTS Game at E3 2003. At Threewave Software, I led the founder group to grow into 3 teams with a focus on multiplayer online gameplay and technology for the PC, PS3 and Xbox360. Threewave also pioneered several free to play products on Facebook and iOS devices. Threewave Software was named a top 10 company to work for in British Columbia, by BC Business.On the technology bench at Garibaldi Capital, advising on M&A, entity valuations, business and growth strategy and equity financing. My current role at VP of Corporate Development at Roadhouse allows me to focus on strategic relationships for Vancouver's biggest F2P independent game developer. Now as partner at IB Investment Banking, I draw on my experience with entrepreneurship, corporate development and strategic relationships to help entrepreneurs sell up and find the right exit for their growing businesses.
