In my role as the Head of Data Engineering at Daraz, South Asia's largest online marketplace, and a subsidiary of the Alibaba Group, I held a pivotal position in harnessing the potential of Alibaba's cloud computing platform. My primary focus centered around the effective utilization of their robust suite of big data solutions, which encompassed Hadoop MapReduce, Hive, Airflow, and Flink. This allowed me to craft and manage data pipelines serving both batch and real-time data needs.
