Propose MG Motors vision to group heads to demonstrate possible steps needed to maintain company’s growth. iv. Manage reporting, analysis, and routine transactions to the top management of the company (SAIC (SMIL), CEO, GM’s & JW (Group management)) and maintain information follow in cross-functional departments (Finance, Accounting, Commercial & Product Development).v. To foster enduring partnerships with PAPAAM members, we aim to cultivate strong working relationships through localization initiatives. Additionally, to ensure the longevity of our business, we will establish a comprehensive business agreement.vi. In the face of challenging economic conditions, priority is set to maintain and support localization efforts while strategically managing our investments.vii. Managed parts cost and contract negotiations with local manufacturers.viii. Additional Charge of coordinator to support the development of Production Cost Management system.

Department Manager Costing Department Head of local part costing, localization plan, and set new localization targets.i. Build an effective, motivated, progressive & cohesive Costing team from scratch suited to develop an effective business model for parts localization.ii. Responsible for arranging departmental operations in compliance with ISO 9001/14001 through IMS.iii. Develop a Purchasing strategy suited to Hyundai Nishat Motor's spending structure.iv. Establishing contact with European Research & testing centers for testing of localized parts in Pakistan (to check compliance with Hyundai Motor specifications).v. Responsible for developing long-term working relations with members of PAPAAM through localization projects and for the sustainability of the business, establishing a comprehensive business agreement.vi. Managed business relationships with local part manufacturers during challenging economic circumstances during COVID and strategize investments accordingly.vii. Managed negotiations with local manufacturers to invest in Hyundai Motor CAPEX-intensive localization projects and have Hyundai being the majority shareholder in these projects under Investment Guarantee arranged by the supplier.viii. Looked after contract management and negotiation with local as well as international suppliers.

Running Models:i. Looking after domestic supplier to keep their supply as per HACPL production requirement.ii. Provide IT department with material data to update or generate BOOM for payment and one-unit control.iii. Conclude and effectively implement cost down ideas to meet profitability targets.iv. Assist company with Step-up localization to provide competitive market cost and maintain its profitability.v. Look after Purchase Agreement, TA/TC Agreement and Drawing Release Agreement etc.Future Projects:i. As per allocated supplier’s infra-structure and capability, formulated complete localization strategy forupcoming projects. Strategy incorporate Localization Cost Merit, Development Plan, Supplier’s AvailableManufacturing Capacity, Business Distribution and Supplier Development.ii. Thorough study of drawings for potential localization or change in specification, change in material type, new testing method associated with new and existing parts.iii. Get approval of Drafted Business Agreement for Patient Drawing Maker and finalize drawing and testing fee.iv. Conduct market survey for potential automobile parts manufacturer. Responsibility requirement is to effectively increase localization and develop current as well as new suppliers.v. Present and discuss localization proposal with R&D for possible avoidable shortcomings.vi. Issue RFQ to local makers and make investment proposal based on experience and competitive cost evaluation technique.vii. Cost negotiations with suppliers and check supplier capacity.viii. Development Go ahead to suppliers after finalizing business allocation.ix. Confirm parts test source and source test report with HRAP for final approval of localization.Budgeting:i. Quarterly budgeting of all running models and New Model.ii. Based on forecasted Forex and material data, budget part price for next quarter.iii. Plan investment for New Development and reflect Cost down idea during budgeting.

i. Feasibility study for localization of parts to achieve localization targets.ii. Developing current suppliers as well as search for potential suppliers to keep HACPL’s production requirement intact.iii. Finalizing local parts cost and keep on revising cost based on material, electricity, labor & Annual Cost reduction (based on negotiation with supplier).iv. Direct dealing with local suppliers for parts development and supplier’s capacity check.v. Quarterly budgeting of local parts.vi. In case of New Model development, coordinate with R&D to discuss possibility of localization.

Responsibilities:i. Coordinating with other departments regarding Purchase Department activities.ii. Feasibility check of upcoming models and new investments by Honda.iii. Controlling cost of each and every part and component in running as well as upcoming model.iv. Feasibility of new assembly line equipment and process improvement using new equipment.v. Procuring parts from international vender while keeping business profitable for HACPL.Under NMC section, Worked on two major projects mentioned below.-> Project Leader:Honda BR-V:i. Model feasibility, based on targets set by Marketing and Asian Honda.ii. Purchasing Sub-sections (Costing, NMC and Planning & Administration) Performance Check, Inter-Section Coordination and Job Distribution.iii. Local and International parts segregation (based on Local and International vendors quotation).iv. Supplier Quality Audit Check (along with Quality Department Project leader) to monitor existing suppliers capability plus capacity check. Also facility check of new business partners.v. Total Model Investment feasibility check.vi. Over-all local part investment plus Cost approval from Management.vii. Supervise timely execution of Cost “GO” activity for those Vendors who were offering better Cost package in comparison with international Vendors.viii. Complete sourcing to Parts List Control Department (NMC) with full Maker layout, along with Sub assembles information.ix. Keeping Purchase team updated with recent changes and direction from HACPL administration.xi. Responsible for reviewing International and Local parts performance in Complete Body Unit, before sending to Honda Motor Japan for further testing. -> 3500-Ton Injection Molding Machine Installation:.i. Develop Risks Model, HACPL could face after initiating 3500Ton Machine project.ii. Review possible benefit for initiating 3500Ton Injection Molding Machine.iii. Competitive study of Machine between Machine Suppliers.

i. Supplier Quality Audit Check to issue development “GO”.ii. Sharing necessary data to suppliers for development (drawing, material specification & manufacturing instructions).iii. Drawing study, Material Specification study and Manufacturing instructions for supplier training, to meet development schedule and desired product quality.iv.
