I am a Mechanical Sub-team Member at UBC BEST, where I collaborate in the development of an EEG electrode headset with the Multifaceted Innovation in NeuroTechnology Team (MINT). I am also pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at The University of British Columbia, with an expected graduation date of May 2027. My core competencies include research skills, mathematics, and quantitative research.As a Mechanical Sub-team Member, I contribute to the design, fabrication, and testing of the EEG headset, which aims to provide assistive technology for people with specific needs. We are competing in the 2024 Simon Cox Competition, where we will showcase our prototype and collaborate directly with stakeholders. Additionally, I am the Vice President (External) of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) UBC, where I organize and market chapter-wide events, partner with professionals, and advocate for sustainable engineering practices and better mental health for engineering students. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to create positive social and environmental impact, and I am eager to learn from diverse perspectives and experiences.
