I am reporting to the Chief Operating Officer at Sapphire Renewables and involved in the Project Management of approximately half a Billion Dollars Projects. Managing multiple EPC and cross-functional projects throughout the project lifecycle, and have experience of working with International organizations such as IFC, OPIC, ADB, IDB, DEG, USAID, Hydrochina Huadong, Power China, GE, Wood, Lahmeyer International, Mott MacDonald.Responsible for the management of multiple EPC Renewable Energy projects concurrently. Ensuring that the Employer’s and Lender's interests and the goals are met by managing all aspects of a project lifecycle from inception, through the construction phase, to subsequent handover to the site operations team including, but not limited to the project planning, development, change control, implementation, issue & risk management, Stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. Plan, manage, monitor, deliver large EPC projects with complex scope, multiple work streams and interdependencies, and successfully drive the transition phase until the projects are handed over to the Operations Teams.Follow Sponsor’s/Lender's Project Management Methodology and PMO Standards to ensure project delivery, framework, tasks, activities, and deliverables are represented and accounted for in project plans, timelines, and the system of record.Develop relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet timeline and business objectives.Liaise and negotiate with the Manufacturers of Turbines and BOP Equipment, Owner’s Engineer, Lender’s Engineer, EPC Contractors, O&M Contractors and the Power Purchaser to make sure that the project objectives are met timely and the quality product is delivered.Also, involved in Contract management to ensure that the works are completed in accordance with the contract specifications and all non-conformances are formally recorded and rectified accordingly.
