-responsible for the technical aspects of media broadcast and ensure that all equipment is working properly-in charge of the upkeep of complex, high-tech equipment-responsible for the correct connection and maintenance of the equipment -in charge of checking the finished product to see that all inputs were received correctly and everything either sounds or looks exactly right-responsible for determining and fixing the problem

-Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order-Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during the production procedures-Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift-Monitor machines to ensure optimum running-Troubleshoot problems during machine operation-Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out-Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output-Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times-Create and maintain activity logs-Provide relevant information regarding progress to supervisors

-Schedules and arranges for use of audiovisual equipment for faculty, staff and students upon request-Maintains reservation schedule including type of equipment, time needed and time scheduled to return.-Checks outgoing and incoming equipment for damages or malfunctions.-Performs preventative maintenance and cleaning on audiovisual equipment and makes minor repairs to equipment as needed.-Maintains supply inventory including equipment parts and other supplies and orders according to established departmental procedures.
