- I recently contributed to a Biophysical (structure/energy) Profiling of eight functional genomic elements (Coding Sequences, Promoters, Exon-Intron boundaries, Gene boundaries, Start/Stop Codons) across all the major eukaryotic kingdoms (Animalia, Plantae, Fungi, Protista). An expanded analysis on humans additionally included Enhancer boundaries and 5'/3' Untranslated region boundaries.- Mentored a summer intern (two months) in large-scale genomic data handling/analysis.- Currently, I am contributing to the development of a genome workbench.- Alongside, I'm working on developing a model for small molecules' toxicity prediction.

- I assisted in the pipeline development/implementation of ChemEXIN for all the three organisms under study; humans, mice, and worms.- Alongside, I contributed to the preparation of the manuscript with my mentor and supervisor for ChemEXIN and looked after the reproducibility of our pipeline, from datasets to models.- Continuing my mentorship endeavour with the Research Intern, I overlooked and reviewed the final report and presentation for his research project.

- I was involved in developing a novel tool for predicting exon-intron boundary junctions (in humans, mice, and worms) using physicochemical DNA features.-Mentored an M.Tech. final year Research Intern on a project focused on the codon-usage-bias-based characterization of gene/non-gene sequences extending the conjugate rule hypothesis.

- During the research training at SCFBio Lab, IIT Delhi, I was actively involved in a research project submitted as a part of my Master's thesis. The project focused on predicting Exon-Intron boundary junctions using 28 physicochemical DNA features (25 structural and 3 energy parameters).- This was a unique opportunity to contribute to the field of computational genomics and gain invaluable research experience.

I am working on a project involving genome-wide identification of a motif in promoter regions in rice and validating the identified genes of interest by expression analysis at the Mineral Nutrition Laboratory, Division of Plant Physiology.

- During my research internship at Dr. Khalid Raza's lab, Department of Computer Science, Jamia Millia Islamia, I worked on a multi-targeted "gene-to-drug" approach for Alzheimer's disease (AD).- Additionally, I had the opportunity to contribute to two book chapters, honing my scientific writing skills.- Throughout the internship, I also undertook tasks related to literature review, and data analysis, further enhancing my research capabilities.

- During my research internship (Minor Project) under the guidance of Prof. Rafat Parveen at the Department of Computer Science, Jamia Millia Islamia, I investigated the role of the BACE1 gene and its regulatory neighbors in the progression of Alzheimer's Disease (AD).- To achieve this, I did an extensive literature review, and extracted relevant datasets for a downstream gene expression analysis, gene regulatory networks modeling, etc. to present an in-depth analysis—providing valuable insights into the potential contributions of these genes to the development and progression of AD.- The research project was titled "A validatory analysis of the BACE1 gene and its regulatory neighbors in the progression of Alzheimer's disease," reflecting the focus and scope of my investigation.

As the Editor, I worked closely with the Content team and helped in formulating the M.Sc. Bioinformatics placement cell brochure 2021-23.

I had the opportunity to collaborate closely with all the other groups within the organization. As part of my responsibilities, I actively contributed to writing, editing, and reviewing content that was shared across the various social media channels. This involved ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and relevance of the content before it was communicated to our audience.

I managed the Editorial Team and formulated various editorial pieces for social media posts and the college newsletter, Lagniappe.
