Major Responsibilities and Tasks• Implementation, integration and end-to-end testing of LTE Evolved Packet Core networking equipment in Mobile Lab (LTE ePC components – MME, SGSN).• Support troubleshooting of interoperability and end-to-end service related integration and test activities of 3G and LTE Evolved Packet Core (MME, SGW, PGW, Backbone Routers).• Test Plan development and test execution in end-to-end lab environment, including bench marking with Cisco EPC.• Support troubleshooting of interoperability and end-to-end service related integration and test activities for EPC products and related elements in the lab.• Understanding on various LTE interfaces & procedures/protocols - as S1-MME, S1-U, S6a, S11, S5/S8, Gx, Gy, Rx, NAS, S1-AP, RRC, GTPv2c, GTP-U, SGs-AP.• Knowledge of complimentary Packet Core Applications; GTP-C, GTP-U, RADIUS, LDAP, DIAMETER, DNS, SOAP.• Specific experience testing LTE network features/services: VoLTE, CSFB, Inter/Intra RAT handovers.• Packet traces using Ethereal/Wireshark, snoop and tcpdump tools on UNIX/Linux machines• Analysis of Traces for Attachment Issues, PDP Context Activation Failures and Performance Issues• Installation and Integration of ALU 7720 iGGSN, 7750 GGSN and Cisco GGSN 7606.• Troubleshooting Firewall related issues and taking internal firewall and Netscreen snoop tracesSpecialties• Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, UNIX and SUN Solaris 8, 9 & 10, Solaris Scripting, sql and ldap.• Protocols: SS7, TCP/IP, SIP, SMPP, SNMP, SIGTRAN.• Platform: Sun Fire V240 Servers, Hp RP 4440 & 5470, Cisco Routers, Switches, ALU Omni Switches & Juniper Netscreen Firewall.
