As CFO and a board member, my core responsibilities at Polymer Logistics included building and managing annual business plans / budgets, and overseeing both strategy and business development for all of the group's companies. I handled sensitive relations with shareholders and investors, and also managed teams in Israel, Europe, and the USA that included controllers, payroll accountants, bookkeepers, economists, and legal advisors.I led financial and investment processes in Israel and overseas, working closely with legal counsels, tax counsels, banks, PEs, and syndication up to €70M. During that period, I led the company in all financial aspects through several rounds of funding from investors, shareholders and PEs. In addition, I led various cost reduction and infrastructure replacement processes, and managed operation, production, and inventory processes throughout various group companies. I was also responsible for tax planning, covering transfer pricing and international tax planning work.

My primary responsibilities in this role were wide-ranging, including the management of staff, such as accountants, payroll accountants, bookkeepers, and economists. I coordinated relations with the group’s CPA in Israel and overseas, and was responsible for preparing annual and periodic financial statements, as well as the group’s budget and monthly performance reports, which involved liaising with various tax authorities. In addition, I led cost reduction and infrastructure update processes, upgraded the internal auditing/collection/reporting system to streamline corporate procedures, and audited production and inventory processes throughout the group’s companies.

Coordinated various audit, review, and consultation services for both private and publicly-owned Israeli companies. In this role, I also led tax planning and execution activities vis-à-vis relevant tax partners, including the Chief Scientist, Approved Enterprise, and ITA.

During this period, I interned in the audit department, where I dealt with documentation for a large variety of companies, including quarterly and annual reports, tax reports, and interim audits.
