In this role Dani is responsible for the coordination, administration, and implementation of the ‘Developing an online game to reduce depression in trans and gender diverse young people’ research project, currently referred to as TRANSPARX. It aims to collaboratively adapt an existing, evidence-based, online intervention (SPARX-R) for use with trans youth.

I was a registered ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) trainer who successfully delivered numerous workshops in Perth with positive feedback. ASIST is the world’s leading suicide intervention workshop that teaches participants to intervene and help prevent the immediate risk of suicide. I also used my experience to advocate for LGBTIQ.
