As of October 2020, I started volunteering in a research lab under the direction of Dr. Stephanie Frisbee and Dr. Jefferson Frisbee, researchers in the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Department and Department of Medical Biophysics, respectively. My role entails to help create an REB approved ethics protocol, help gather participants, help out with obtaining data, and decoding the resulting data. Furthermore, I am currently working on a paper as first author revolving around Cognitive Impairments post-transient ischemic attack with my fellow peer members. Additionally, I am currently a co-author on a paper titled "Assessments of Perfusion, Blood Flow, and Vascular Structure in Ambulatory Subjects: Guidance for Translational Research Scientists" (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36843014/)

One of eighteen dancers for the Western-Indo Canadian Students’ Association competitive dance team, Advaya. Practices occur twice a week where we learn creative Bollywood style dance pieces to perform at various south asian school-based events.

Since January of 2023, I am involved with BRDRLESS Dance as a Promotional Intern and being an extra in a few dance performances. My job is to promote dance case-show events that occur in London, ON or in and around the GTA. One of the highlights of my role thus far is being an Master of Ceremony for the Cultural Showcase that occurred at The Wolfe Theatre in London, ON.

A Team Leader at Jack and Jones Canada, building my intrapersonal, teamwork and time management skills. Consistently meeting store targets and goals in terms of sales.

After being the Branch Coordinator here at Western U for the IgNITE Medical Case Competition, I have been assigned to the Co-Assistant Director position. My role will now be more hands-on and focused on a specific area (i.e. social media promotion, finances, etc) as the goal this year is to really grow the IgNITE club here at Western!

Alongside the role of being the Co-Assistant Director for Marketing, I am temporarily the Co-Bilingual Chair here at IgNITE. My role is to help translate the social media posts to have a french version as well so that we can reach an even larger audience.

IgNITE is a Medical Case Competition held annually at the University of Ottawa. For the 2020/21 year, IgNITE is hosting the competition virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At each university, there are Branch Coordinators ("Head Ambassadors") and Ambassadors that essentially have the role to promote what IgNITE. Generally, there are 1-2 Branch Coordinators and 5-7 Ambassadors. I went through an interview with the President and Vice President External of IgNITE and I was chosen to be the Branch Coordinator at Western University for IgNITE

As of June 2020, I was accepted to be the Mentorship Coordinator for Leap on a 1-year contract, with an opportunity of renewal at the end of my term. Some of my roles include and are not limited to: oversee and Implement all initiatives and services related to the LEAP Mentorship Program, collaborate with the Department of Operations to develop, evaluate and execute a hiring process for the Mentorship Program and to Plan professional development opportunities for the LEAP Mentorship Program and the LEAP internal team!
