Work closely with Office of State Revenue’s (OSR) management to provide HR advice and solutions that promote and align with OSR’s and Treasury’s strategic objectives. A key contact for OSR management and staff on a range of people and workforce issues and being responsible for supporting the implementation of key human resource projects and initiatives.

Lead and undertake designated project activities and participate in design and implementation of organisational change activities. Prepare reports and submissions on human resource management issues and represent the department at external agencies. Assist in the planning, development of materials and delivery of training related to human resource management issues associated with the branch's responsibilities. Provide input into the development and implementation of human resource management policies, processes and systems including the provision of advice to relevant managers and clients. Provide operational advice, support and consultancy services to various areas of the department on a diverse range of human resource management matters.

Provides exceptional client service and support to business areas within the Office of Industrial Relations focusing on human resource management activities including recruitment and selection, workforce planning, performance management, discipline processes, research and analysis, reporting, learning and development, payroll and timesheet inquiries, induction and exit procedures.

Accountable for the effective provision of HR advice and administration support to meet the operational and service delivery needs of a defined client group. Initial point of contact for the day to day delivery of clear and accurate HR advice and support to leaders and staff at all levels, ensuring consistent application of the HR policy framework to meet the diverse needs of the client group.Responsible for coordinating the end to end delivery of core HR services to staff including recruitment and selection, induction, staff development and benefits programs, performance appraisals, leave, and support to clients with accessing specific specialist services such as immigration, salary packaging, and superannuation. Supports the implementation of HR projects and initiatives aligned to client business unit needs and the broader University HR strategy. Ensures all HR advice and support services are in compliance with relevant policies and /or external legislative and regulatory controls.

Contribute to the design, implementation and evaluation of strategic level organisational development activities, aimed at encouraging a positive corporate culture and supporting business needs.
