I am a graduate student researcher at Stanford University, pursuing a PhD in Genetics. My research focuses on developing mathematical and statistical models to explore patterns of genomic sharing and understand genetic relatedness. I have a strong background in biology and bioinformatics, having graduated with a BS in Biology from Arizona State University, where I also worked as a research assistant on several bioinformatics projects.As a graduate student researcher, I have designed and implemented statistical corrections to account for variations in sample sizes when analyzing population-level data. I have also analyzed gene expression data across different tissues to understand variation within and between sexes. I am passionate about advancing the field of genetics and contributing to the scientific community.
