This position required me to keep up to date on the health and safety standards and protocols required by clubs to run events and training. I was in charge of running health and safety checks for all club events to ensure members' safety. I also organised weekly training sessions for club members and had a great time introducing people to a new sport.

I volunteered as a Pier Assisted Learning (PAL) tutor during my 2nd and 3rd year in UCC. During this period I taught physics to 1st year students from various courses in UCC. This experience helped me learn how to break down complex ideas and present on a variety of topics.

I spent many summers working as a sailing and other watersports instructor. Through this job I learned how to teach new skills to people of all ages as well as develop the sailing skills of more experienced individuals.
