Worked for a sole practitioner in Portland OR who was an attorney and a CPA (I believe his CPA # was in the low 70's) while I attended college. Upon my completing my degree, I sat for the CPA exam and then joined Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte & Touche) as a tax accountant.
