Ohio University Summer Honors Institute (formerly known as Ohio University Governor's Scholars) was a non-residential day-program for high school students in southeastern Ohio. Each student selected to attend the program chose to participate in one of several three-week research areas. Assisted high school students to learn and do projects with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, web site design, e-mail, graphics manipulation, telnet, and simple programming using LOGO. Developed multimedia CD-ROM for archival and promotional use. Maintained program website. Directed teams of student leaders in daily operations. Designed computer graphics for memorabilia and promotional items. Utilized HTML, Macromedia Shockwave, Microsoft PowerPoint, JASC Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Apple QuickTime.
