World Space Week is an international celebration of science and technology, and their contribution to the betterment of the human condition. The United Nations General Assembly declared in 1999 that World Space Week will be held each year from October 4-10. These dates commemorate two events:The mission of World Space Week Association (WSWA) is to strengthen the link between space and society through public education, participation, and dialogue on the future of space activity using World Space Week as a focus.

The Charlie Bates Solar Astronomy Project (www.charliebates.org a 501c3 nonprofit) is the highest volume solar astronomy outreach program in the world. CBSAP brings observatory quality, narrowband solar telescopes and imaging equipment to over 150 schools and events per year. In 2012 we personally reached over 150,000 students and adults in 5 countries. In this program you will be able to see up close, live views of Sunspots, Solar Flares, Prominences, Filaments and other fiery magnetic phenomena near the surface of our nearest star. You can even take your own image of the Sun in three different wavelengths of light. Get ready to be blown away by the incredible views of the Sun through these state of the art telescopes and cameras. Participants receive solar viewing glasses absolutely free at the event!

Asteroid Day takes place annually on June 30. It is a global awareness campaign where people from around the world come together to learn about asteroids, the impact hazard they may pose, and what we can do to protect our planet, families, communities, and future generations from future asteroid impacts. Asteroid Day is held each year on the anniversary of the largest impact in recent history, the 1908 Tunguska event in Siberia. A relatively small asteroid, about 40 meters across or the size of a modest office building, devastated an unpopulated area about the size of a major metropolitan city. Regionally organised large and small events are held on Asteroid Day, and range from lectures and other educational programmes to live concerts and broader community events, to raise public awareness of the need for increased detection and tracking of asteroids.

The Museum of Đakovo and Đakovština was founded in 1951. after a two-year preparatory period which had had a happy ending due to the enthusiasm of the few individuals who had been very much aware of the need to preserve a cultural properties of Đakovo and the surrounding area. The Museum holds two permanent displays: The Permanent display of the Ethnological Department and The permanent display of the historical and cultural development of Đakovo, with over a 10 different collections, and several tens of thousands of pieces in the Museums inventory.Job was to serve all the needs for the IT deparment, especially digitalisation of the whole inventory, working with the databases, programing, photographing and photo retouching as well as managing web pages, community managment, taking and making promotional videos and documentaries for the educational purposes of the Museum.
