Third placement on graduate programme. Products role working in Global Transaction Banking. The team develops cross product propositions to meet our clients’ transaction banking needs. Role included supporting and driving new proposition development – encompassing future channel, product and service enhancements e.g. digitalisation, emerging market trends and changing client behaviours, whilst ensuring that LBG is putting the Client First.

Second placement on graduate scheme. Client facing role as part of the SME Manufacturing relationship team for the North East and Yorkshire. Worked with accredited relationship managers in dealings with clients from the manufacturing business sector. Main tasks included researching prospects and attending client meetings and events such as MACH 2016. Took ownership of a portfolio for c2 months in the absence of usual Relationship Manager. Renewed and completed credit papers in this capacity, had regular contact with both clients and associated professionals, took on new lending opportunities towards the end of the placement.

Primary tasks included data analysis as part of both regulatory and internal stress tests as well as preparing presentation packs and information.
