Daniel Lapham is an Emmy Award-winning videographer and editor currently living and working in Harrah, OK. As the Owner of Idealist Creative Media, LLC, Daniel contracts with national television networks to deliver package and live TV content for national broadcast.Daniel began his career in journalism while attending Oklahoma City Community College. From there he continued his journey at the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication. After earning his Bachelors degree in Journalism in May, 2006, Daniel worked as a feature reporter and photographer for the Muskogee Phoenix newspaper.Moving back to Oklahoma City in 2007, Daniel worked for the El Reno Tribune as a photographer and reporter. Documentary filmmaking was a natural fit for Daniel's curiosity, feature storytelling background, and belief that telling people's stories can serve as the bridge that connects our past to our future. Daniel joined OETA in August, 2008 as a documentary photojournalist and editor for Stateline, Gallery and The State of Creativity. Daniel accepted a position as the chief videographer and editor for Jasco Products in October, 2011. As a part of the in-house marketing department, he worked with a team to produce professional video projects highlighting and teaching consumers how to get the most from their purchases.
