Responsible for creating award-winning documentary programs for Oklahoma's PBS affiliate. Duties include co-producing, shooting and editing the Emmy Award winning documentary series "Stateline." In addition to his duties with "Stateline," Daniel Lapham's responsibilities include shooting and editing news packages for the Oklahoma News Report, a weekly "primetime" news magazine bringing important news and information to the residents of Oklahoma. Past work includes b-camera photographer and editor for the "State of Creativity."Before moving to "Stateline" Daniel Lapham's responsibilities were to shoot and edit one segment each month for OETA's original series "Gallery." The series tells the stories of Oklahoma's artists.

Responsible for generating story ideas, reporting on the city council, the municipal hospital, general news, laying out two to four pages per week and working as the news photographer for this 5,000 circulation twice-weekly newspaper. In a given week I will write community profiles, hard news and crime stories, event previews and special interest pieces targeting the people of El Reno and Canadian County.

Generated story ideas and produced content for the Features Section and Web site of this 15,000 circulation daily newspaper. I wrote, shot and edited the first ever made for Web video packages for the Phoenix. I worked with the Online Editor to launch a weekly video section on the papers Web site. I was responsible for writing between four and eight stories per week for the themed features section. In addition to video production and photography, I took responsibility for laying out special sections publications and filled in as Weekend editor. In a given week I wrote several stories and produced at least one video package covering community members, local musicians, events and special interests impacting the people of Muskogee and its surrounding areas.

Generated story ideas and produced content for the music and arts section of The Oklahoman’s Weekend Look. Helped George Lang and other Features staff members produce a new local package called OK 360. I wrote an original band Q&A for each week’s OK 360. In addition, I helped produce new niche projects for The Oklahoman. After completing my internship I continued to write a bi-weekly column for publication in LOOK@OKC, a weekend entertainment guide.

I started at this student newspaper as a student reporter. From there I was promoted to Editor in June, 2003. I worked as the Editor till I graduated with my AA degree in Broadcast Journalism in December, 2003. I returned in 2004 as the Pioneer News Lab Assistant Director. I worked there through the end of 2005 when my education at the University of Oklahoma required me to dedicate more time to my studies.

I worked at Mountain House Ski Rental and River Run Sports. During the winter season I managed the rental operations to set up guests with ski/snowboard rental equipment. In addition to the technical set up I ran cash registers, opened the store, was responsible for cashing out and balancing daily totals for the shop.In the summers I was assistant manager for the River Run retail and mountain bike rental shop. We sold a variety of outdoor gear and apparel as well as set guests up with mountain bikes to use on Keystone Mountain.

Worked in various aspects of the medical magnetics field. I did everything including: powder coating ceramics, making wood headboards to hold magnetic bricks, polarizing ceramic materials using industrial electromagnetic pulse, screen printing vinyl top sheets for covering magnetic products and manufacture of magnetic and foam mattress pads.
