For the past three years, I have been engaged as an Environmental Engineer and Project Lead for Envent Corporation an environmental engineering company, on refinery turnaround services, degassing, vapor control and water treatment projects.My responsibilities include project planning, scheduling and coordination, process hazard analysis, compliance procedures and risk mitigation. I develop customized water treatment and vapor control systems, initiate degas techniques, lead emergency depressurization of pipelines and treat contaminated water.In addition, I accompany sales and service representatives on customer presentations and serve as environmental technical expert. I determine equipment needs, facilitate R&D and develop new methods and equipment for water treatment and vapor control.My role requires extensive communication with clients, solid project management skills and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams. Recently, I passed the PE exam and hold an Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification. Earlier experience includes four years in the United States Marine Corps.
