Lead UPMC’s Center for Social Impact program development team with multi-million dollar budget of community-based organization partnerships to support the community in meeting basic needs such as:o Community Health Worker partnerships to help people gain access to health careo Partnership with Benefits Data Trust to support members who are eligible but not enrolled in public benefits like SNAP and LIHEAP that are proven to impact overall health and well-being.o Supportive housing partnership with multiple community organizations that help individuals gain access to housing and supportive services.o Partnerships with multiple organizations to offer financial counseling and homeownership classes to community members.Lead UPMC Health Plan’s Pathways to Work program, that hires 200 of our own Medicaid members per month, aimed at providing workforce, training and education opportunities to individuals on Medicaid, those who are unemployed/underemployed and those who have lost jobs during the pandemic. Program has helped to bring over $5 million in federal, state and other funding to western Pennsylvania. Led development of UPMC’s first community-based Pathways to Work Jobs Center at Hosanna House in Wilkinsburg, PA that breaks down barriers to help community members find life-changing careers.Led development of UPMC's first Neighborhood Center – including securing a million-dollar donation for the space – aimed at providing workforce development and social service supports in 8,000 sq. foot space in high need East Liberty/Larimer communities. Model will be replicated across the state.Lead spokesperson on national, regional and local media regarding Pathways to Work, the Neighborhood Center and other social-impact related programs and models.
