- Plan, direct and lead various audit, review, and compilation engagements- Perform detailed analyses of year-end financial information for accuracy, validity and conformance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements- Monitor emerging accounting and financial reporting issues- Research relevant technical topics and draft technical accounting memos- Ensure completeness and accuracy of disclosure requirements- Identify and assess critical risk areas- Evaluate and communicate internal control deficiencies identified- Manage multiple projects simultaneously- Perform timely and thorough reviews of all work papers- Provide training, guidance and technical assistance to the team to ensure timely completion of work- Develop and maintain strong relationships internally and with client personnel

- Ownership of all accounting functions across the organization (US and International)- Control of the month-end close process- Preparation and reporting of timely monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP- Ownership, preparation, and management of external audit- Oversight of invoicing, accounts receivable, cash management, collections, and tax processes - Maintain compliance with city, state, and other local tax legislation with US and International offices- Manage equity accounting including exercises, vesting, and stock-based compensation expense calculations- Manage calculation of commission payouts and ensure accuracy

- Gather data and prepare documents required by compliance agencies for external financial reporting, included but not limited to 10-Q's, 10-K's, 8-K's, proxy statements and other periodic reports- Assist in the preparation and review of the cash flow statement, earnings per share calculations, internally developed software, equity calculations, and various other information and footnotes for periodic releases of financial results- Ensure data consistency, integrity and proper accounting application- Assist in gathering reference material and assessing the impact of both existing and new technical accounting literature - Involvement in accounting aspects of corporate development (acquisition activity, purchase accounting, pro forma disclosures, etc.)- Lead the company's continued compliance with XBRL standards
