Hello there! I am a full-stack developer / software engineer working in the industry since 2019. I've worked independently, on contract and for small companies, delving headfirst into new technologies, sharpening my weaknesses and finding my passions. I have a particular passion for front-end development and modern design aesthetics, but love working through the stack and making code efficient, clean and scalable. My coding journey began small-time, building websites and UI's for myself and friends/family and which prompted me to study Front End Web Development at General Assembly in New York. After working on contract at Softlimit (building pages and email notifications for Shopify clients), my full-stack interests culminated into taking the plunge into General Assembly's Software Engineering Immersive in the summer of 2020. Upon graduating, I've gained skills in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, Python, Django, MongoDB, PostgresQL, Liquid, Node.js, Express, jQuery, SASS, Wordpress, PHP, Bootstrap, Materialize and Heroku. In addition to software engineering, I have also worked as a performing musician in NYC for 10 years and have toured the US, Europe and Latin America. I've transformed my skills in creativity, problem-solving and determined, focused skill acquisition into creating aesthetically appealing, empathetic products that are performative, future-proof and scalable.
