With a background in engineering management, I've taken those skills and applied them to my passion to develop awesome unique tasting wines. I started a company called Mission X Artisan a few years ago and soon after launched Barrel Riot Wines. These wines are bourbon, rum and tequila barrel-aged and are considered sipping wines. You'll still pair these delicious tasting wines with food, and you'll drink a little slower and eat a little slower to really experience these wines. Don't Drink Wine Experience It!Having a background in software configuration management has helped me understand the release schedules of wine making in order to maximize the efficiency of making these unique products. It's amazing the similarities between owning a winery and working with software engineers. These skills have been invaluable in helping me with the success of my new company. I was also a VP of Engineering with experiences in creation and leadership of high performing world class teams delivering quality products aligning with companies’ road maps and strategies. Ensuring success from engineering teams by providing the proper tools and communication needed to align with both the company’s vision as well as keeping atop of the latest technologies to maximize engineering team’s quality and performance.
