Oversaw the award-winning Marketing Communications team at rEvolution, an independent, sports and lifestyle marketing headquartered in Chicago. Guided brand strategy, communications, content production, and public relations campaigns for a broad mix of global and national clients including Continental Tire, Discover, Puttshack and TORO.

Spearheaded all communications, media relations and PR initiatives for rEvolution, an independent, sports marketing and media agency in Chicago and its integrated client partners. Served as lead role on communications campaigns for global and national clients including the Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series (LVACWS) Chicago, Red Bull, Continental Tire (MLS) and Winnebago.

Guided the Communications team during the 2013-2014 seasons. The Communications' team responsibilities included developing and executing the Club’s communications strategy, which included building relationships with the media, managing all game-day PR services and conveying overall brand messaging. Highlights:- Managed communications department/budget - Oversaw year-over-year increases across all measurable media channels, i.e., website, social media, earned media impressions, etc. - Served as executive editor of Fire's quarterly digital magazine, "Fireside Magazine"- Secured Fire’s first significant English radio show on ESPN 1000, "Chicago Fire Weekly"- Expanded the Fire's broadcast investment with addition of staff, sideline reporter, mobile broadcast desk, in-depth pre-season coverage and more.- Broadened relationships with Chicago media outside of soccer, including Chicago lifestyle and business media/influencers- Testified regarding a historic resolution supporting LGBT athletes (passed unanimously by the Chicago City Council).

Served as the first internal PR hire for rEvolution, an independent, sports marketing and media agency. Advised rEvolution and its clients (including ESPN, EA SPORTS, Travelers Insurance, etc.) on using earned media/PR to promote sports marketing initiatives through a multi-channel communications approach, including media relations, online marketing and social media.

Operated the marketing/website services for the leading association management company in Glenview, Ill. Responsible for managing all marketing collateral, digital materials and online resources for a wide variety of business (ACG), legal (LMA) and medical related (CAAS) associations.

Coordinated proactive/strategic communications plans at the boutique PR firm for a variety of clients ranging from a national real estate developer in California (OliverMcMillan) and a resort in the Caribbean (Bitter End Yacht Club), to an award-winning restaurant chain in Chicago (Lettuce Entertain You). Oversaw the day-to-day implementation of media-relations strategy (message development, press release writing, media pitching, in addition to special events planning) to achieve client goals for more than 20 local and national clients.
