Mr. Lohrmann was Michigan's first Chief Security Officer (CSO) & Deputy Director within Michigan's Department of Technology Management & Budget (DTMB). Dan oversaw all aspects of cybersecurity, physical security, department emergency management, and critical infrastructure protection within state government. Dan led teams responsible for liaison roles in security with federal, state and local partners. He worked closely with criminal justice organizations, the private sector, the MS-ISAC, NASCIO and others to safeguard people, information and government assets.He represented the National Association of State CIOs (NASCIO) on the IT Government Coordinating Council (IT-GCC) led by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Dan also served in the Multi-State Information Sharing Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) and the Michigan InfraGard Executive Board.
