Dan is an instructor of Anatomy and Physiology at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. He course directs the HPNU 2010/2020 I/II Human Anatomy & Physiology sequence in the nursing prep program, managing TA's, lab instructors and multiple lab sections in addition to lecture sections with approximately 120 students.Dan received his bachelor of science in biology from the US Air Force Academy (’89), as well as masters degrees in aeronautical science from Embry Riddle and basic science/biology from the University of Colorado. During 22 years of active duty, Dan served primarily as a US Air Force KC-135 in-flight refueling pilot and assistant professor of biology at the USAF Academy.Dan and his wife, Jill, live on the northeast side of Colorado Springs with their two children, Grant, and Noah, and four dogs.
