CurrentI began my career at Rockport Mortgage Corporation as an Originator in 1996, the year my oldest son was born. I was hired based on my previous experience at HUD as a Multifamily Housing Representative. Over the years, I learned and mastered all aspects of the mortgage lending business from loan origination and structuring to underwriting, processing and closing. Five years after joining Rockport, I earned an ownership stake and in the years following, leveraged my broad expertise in restructuring and recapitalizing older HUD-assisted affordable housing projects, as well as market-rate apartment communities, nursing homes and assisted living facilities, to complete more than 125 transactions encompassing over $2.5 billion in project financing for Rockport. In 2016 I became Managing Partner and majority owner. I frequently participate on national panels on the topic of affordable housing finance and attend several industry conferences and events annually.I am interested in building relationships with other professionals who are involved in the industry including accountants, lawyers, consultants, operations/managers, architects, owners and both nonprofit and for-profit developers.
