As Talent Acquisition Specialist, I primarily look after the recruitment of our Fundraising & Marketing function, as well as our Philanthropy & Partnerships function.• Providing specialist advice and support to hiring managers on the planning and delivery of the recruitment process from attraction, selection and offer • Carrying out briefings with hiring managers to identify core requirements of their roles • Building and managing relationships with an array of stakeholders, mainly hiring managers and candidates• Managing a large number of roles, up to 50 at any time, and ensuring they’re in line with our cost-per-hire and time-per-hire KPI’s• Designing recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill vacancies, including content marketing• Managing candidates through the recruitment process to ensure they’re informed throughout• Supporting my hiring managers and the wider team with interviews as and when required.

In my role as Resourcing Coordinator, I look after the recruitment of retail roles for two large regions of the UK. This role involves:• Managing a very high number of vacancies in a fast paced environment• Looking after the process of hiring, from advertising roles online to the on-boarding of successful candidates• Producing both weekly and bi-weekly recruitment reports to various stakeholders• Being the first point of call for any internal or external recruitment query • Assisting the Recruitment team with interviews, contract processing and manual applications• Working closely with media suppliers and managers to provide custom advertising for particularly hard-to-fill roles• Heading the facilitating and implementation of process improvements

My biggest achievement in this role was playing a part in the handover of processes to the team in Dubai. This involved travelling to Dubai and training Baker Hughes employees on processes such as promotions, terminations, salary increases and redundancies. Other responsibilities in this role included:• Carrying out HR Inductions for UK based employees• Organising New Hire Orientation presentations for new starters• Processing promotions, terminations and salary increases • Tracking and maintaining holidays • Distributing Service Awards for the Europe region
