I love helping people learn new things. I have boundless energy and enthusiasm for teaching and training, which comes through to learners and makes it easy for me to engage with audiences at all levels. The best times are seeing someone get to that “aha” moment, knowing that I helped them get to that point. Being educated as an engineer enables me to understand and explain technical subject matter. My gift is being able to explain highly technical subjects in an easy-to-understand, engaging way. Designing and developing new learning experiences is another passion of mine, whether it be instructor-led classroom training with PowerPoints, virtual training via Webex, Zoom or Skype, demonstrations, hands-on examples, eLearning or a blend of any of these. I also enjoy individualized instruction, coaching “at-the-elbow” and learning about the challenges and viewpoints of the users. Working remotely over the past eight years has enabled me to hone my communication and course delivery skills to excel as a remote trainer as well as traditional in-person settings.
