My role was to help customers use their data platform assets more effectively and generate new insights and scale from their existing solutions. As a Program Manager and then the Engineering Manager of a team in XBOX for Microsoft Game Studios, I made significant contributions to the solution architecture, design, implementation, and service management of Business Intelligence and Analytics for all priorities of Microsoft [Game] Studios. My team was in charge of Executive Reporting and Analysis for Title and Studio Performance, covering data ingestion, data storage, data analysis, and data visualization. We handled big data, including the telemetry data system for first party titles on XBOX One, Windows 8, and XBOX 360, as well as the SQL Server Data Warehouse and Cubes for various aspects of the business. I received a ShipIt award for delivering XBOX One. I worked on many projects that enhanced the quality of the integration with our partner studios and the value they got from our group. I led the implementation of the systems needed to support the XBOX One launch for our Central Analytics data and our Title Telemetry data, which was used by the Title Teams and the Test Organization. I also developed an Executive Dashboarding Solution that was used by the Senior Leadership Team.
