Manage 20-person marketing, writing and design team that produces a variety of B-to-B and B-to-C communications and content for the world’s largest distributor of comics, graphic novels and pop-culture merchandise.• Oversee all of Diamond’s marketing, branding, advertising, public relations and promotional activities for the company and its various brands and products.• Publish PREVIEWS (circ. 50,000), a 500+ page monthly pre-order catalog/magazine on comics, graphic novels and pop-culture merchandise utilized by retailers and consumers worldwide.• Responsible for Diamond’s entire content management strategy which includes managing over ten varied websites, eight different e-newsletters and several social media portals• Develop and sell marketing sponsorship opportunities that generated additional revenue and brand partnerships with national brands such as Sony, Netflix, Disney, Lego, and others.• Manage product information & e-commerce databases for sales and consumer data points.• Produce specialty catalogs, magazines, order forms and a variety of specialized collateral print and digital materials including calendars, product brochures, trading cards, and more.• Preside over a $6 million-plus printing budget for Diamond and its marketing projects.• Responsible for Diamond’s presence at consumer and retailer trade shows, including the company’s annual Retailer Summit, San Diego Comic-Con, Toy Fair.• Oversee annual Free Comic Book Day and Halloween ComicFest national in-store events.• Upon returning to the company, helped revitalize its websites and online B-to-B ecommerce engines as well as overhaul its catalog design, branding and communications vehicles.• Initiated the company’s social media and e-newsletter programs growing from 10K to 1 million-plus followers, and over 100k e-mail subscribers.• Initiated Google ad publisher network to realize additional annual ad revenue.• Renegotiated printing contracts for a net savings of over $350K annually.
