New technology and product leader with 16 years progressive career experience working in robotics and Autonomy/AI industries.During these years, I have been architecting robotic systems as either an individual contributor, a tech lead or a manager. The above banner shows the robotic systems, which I had the privilege of working on: -Social assistive collaborative robots for retail and health care-Mars Sample Fetch rover for the European Space Agency (ESA)-Canadarm3 for the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and NASA Artemis.-Multi-Mission Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) for Teledyne FlirEngineering programs:Successfully led engineering programs and product development from conceptualization to implementation and technology transfer for clients such as the European space agency (ESA), Canadian space agency (CSA), several public safety agencies, Siemens Canada, Festo Canada, ABB Robotic, Hatch Consulting, Airbus, and Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) to name few.Technical Expertise: AI systems architecture, Unmanned aerial systems (UAS), Unmanned ground systems (UGS), and Industrial robotics. Demonstrated success for analysis, design, modelling & simulation, development, testing, and implementation of various robotic systems and autonomy and AI solutions.Leadership & Management:Throughout my career, I oversaw several multi disciplinary teams that built all aspects of robotic solutions. In particular, I have been responsible for building, managing, and mentoring world class teams of robotic engineers and AI scientists, as well as shaping processes to increase quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the teams. I also developed KPIs and executive reports for measuring the team’s quality and effectiveness. For my past few positions, I have been responsible for creating and maintaining technology development plans and roadmaps, strategic initiatives for the products, and release plans.I leverage technical, business, and financial acumen to communicate effectively with client executives and their respective teams. I have proven track of handling customer escalations to reach resolution using communication, negotiation, empathy, data and building of action plans. Solid project management experience in agile software development, scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, scope management and communication, with track records of leading and motivating high-performing teams to maximize levels of productivity, while forming a cohesive working environment.Designations: PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
